The Zero Waste layering top, a batwing-style top that layers beautifully over denim shorts (and a vest if you dont like to flash your tum!) or on the beach over your swimwear.
These tops are made from different sized rectangles and are pieced together to create contrasting bands of print, this means every single one is a one-off! The rectangles are the full width of the fabric which means zero waste and the patchwork-style means i can use up smaller remnants!! 🌍👍 The only part I have to cut off is the selvedge (the woven edge of the fabric), this is simply because it is usually messy and uneven or printed with text. I then take these long thin pieces of waste and make twisted cord....when I have enough, I plan to make some bowls and placemats! 👌😁
The Zero Waste Layering top is made from roll ends, repurposed fabrics and/or natural fibres.
