Another zero waste dress, The Patchwork Drawstring Dress! A Grecian style light weight dress with ooodles of fabric pulled in at the waist with tie belt. The drawstring shoulders are adjustable too so you can drop or raise the neckline.
These dresses are made from rectangular off-cuts of different sizes and prints making them one of a kind. It is a great design to use up those bits of fabric that always took small for my projects! These rectangles are also the full width of the roll which means zero waste!! 🌍👍 The only part I have to cut off is the selvedge (the woven edge of the fabric), this is simply because it is usually messy and uneven or printed with text. I then take these long thin pieces of waste and make twisted cord or key chains! 👌😁
The Patchwork Drawstring Dress is made from roll ends, repurposed fabrics and/or natural fibres. They are to be worn with a belt, pulling the fabric in a the waist to create a striking hourglass silhouette.
One size (fits appropriately sizes 8-16)
